Good morning MOMS,
"Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful", (Colossians 4:2)
We all need some encouragement from time to time to keep on praying and to keep on watching.
Our faithfulness will be rewarded by our Father. We just have to keep at it. Be determine to hang in there even when  we can't see our way out. God is an all Seeing God and He knows how to best lead and guide our paths. I encourage each of us to take time to access our priorities and see where we are mostly spending our time. We might need to make a few minor adjustments to our schedules to make sure we give ourselves to prayer on a daily basis.
As I a was in the middle of writing these words, I took time out to counsel with a young man who who came into my office. Through God's guidance and leading I was able to share with him some words of wisdom regarding standing up to temptation. As I encouraged him, I was encouraged to as well to lean not to my own understanding but to trust God and His wisdom. It is so important for us to spend time with God in prayer and in the Word so that we can take advantage of the opportunities that come our way to share with others.
So, as we go today, lets commit ourselves to take time to read, pray and study God's word and not only that but make them applicable in your life. Take time to give yourself to someone who is in need of encouragement by sharing what you know and who you know as the Encourager of life. Keep the faith and be encouraged my sisters!
